Mother Hubbard Clause

Mother Hubbard clauses are used more broadly than just real property documents, for example in oil and gas leases. Black's Law Dictionary notes the use of Mother Hubbard clauses in mortgages, oil & gas leases, and court orders stating "that any relief not expressly granted in a specific ruling or judgment is denied" (7th ed. p. 1031).
